As a freelance travel writer, I’ve had the opportunity to experience quite a few luxury spas during my travels. In this article that appears in the January 2016 issue of Blend Radio & TV Magazine, I highlight my three all-time favorite luxury spas.  Read the story at: My Favorite Luxury Spas and listen to the radio interview at Big Blend Radio. Seasonal Splendor at The Omni Grove Park Inn

The Omni Grove Park Inn is wrapped in luxury for the holidays.

Nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and Great Smoky Mountains, this 100+ year- old, AAA Four-Diamond resort hotel is known for its elegance and southern charm. While every season is spectacular at the Omni Grove Park Inn, the winter holidays kick it up a notch with special events such as the National Gingerbread House Competition, delicious holiday dining, live music and festive decorations. Read entire article originally published in the November 2015 issue of Luxe Beat Magazine.

Maui Spa Adventures

Maui Spa Adventures

Although my site is focused mainly on North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida,  I occasionally include stories from other great places I have personally visited.  Below are two stories I wrote for other online travel sites from a visit to Maui last Sept. One is my trip over the Hana Highway (awesome experience) and another on top Maui spas.

So if you have visited Hawaii or dream of visiting this Paradise, check out my two stories and photos on Maui.  After all, Hawaii is definitely a southern destination geographically, and their laid-back culture and hospitality equals that found in the South.
