BBQ, Bourbon & Bluegrass Hoedown
Want to experience a different side of Charleston, SC? Then don’t miss the BBQ, Bourbon & Bluegrass Hoedown on Saturday, November 9, from 7-11 p.m. at the Charleston Visitor Center Bus Shed. The 2nd annual Lowcountry Hoedown is a celebration of Southern fare & libations set to a fiddle!
Sip & swig on bourbon, moonshine, and whiskey cocktails from over a dozen distilleries including Charleston’s own Striped Pig Distillery, scheduled to open later this year. Enjoy craft brews from three great Southern states, including local favorite Holy City Brewing. Nibble and nosh on BBQ, brisket & tasty Southern treats from Lowcountry restaurants and artisan food vendors.
And of course, no Hoedown is complete without dancing, so plan to get down to the funky rhythms of two fantastic bluegrass bands: Seven Handle Circus (Atlanta, GA) and The Barefoot Movement (Johnson City, TN). So suit up in your best plaid and prepare for a boot stompin’ good time at this Lowcountry Hoedown presented by Bottles Beverage Superstore.
Tickets can be purchased at Bottles Beverage Superstore (610 Coleman Blvd, Mt Pleasant) or online at www.lowcountryhoedown.com. Tickets are $50 advance or $65 door (if available). Tickets include sampling from all participating vendors and live entertainment. A portion of the proceeds benefit Pet Helpers, a local non-profit rescue & adoption center for dogs & cats.
